Glen Eira Sports & Aquatic Centre

Glen Eira Sports & Aquatic Centre reached out to us as their pool covers and rollers needed replacing, as they were becoming unusable, due to their weight and condition.

The centre was using mobile pool rollers and stated that in order to reduce manual handling, improve operation time and reduce the risk of accidents, the new rollers needed to be fixed. After discussing this, as well as their other requirements, it was decided that Sunbathers 50m Underseat Rollers and 4mm Thermal Pool Covers was the best solution. Glen Eira Sports & Aquatic Centre required that the seating planks on the Underseat Rollers be made from recycled plastic, so planks from Replas were used to fulfill this brief.

The garden beds had to be altered and concrete added to accommodate the fixed Underseat Rollers, and wind protection was needed for the Thermal Covers, so Sunbathers Rip Stop Wind Edging was used.

Glen Eira Sports & Aquatic Centre is now enjoying the benefits of added seating areas, reduced manual handling and improved operation times.
