Kallangur State Primary required a pool heating system for their 25m pool which would achieve a water temperature of 28°C during the months of Sept – May. They also required an energy efficient system to ensure their running costs were kept to a minimum.
To meet their requirements and maximise the minimal roof space available we designed a system using our Suntube-2 Rigid Solar Panels, resulting in 228m² of solar pool heating.
The pool was in use during the installation, with a total filtration shut down period of 2 hours.
There is smiles all round at Kallangur State School with annual running costs of around $500, a 15 year collector warranty and a warm pool to enjoy!
